Tip N Lift have built a Specialist 6x2 Tuck with an Amco Veba 936 (32TM) crane. This eight-extension crane comes with a hydraulic winch and a reach of 16.8 meters lifting 1130 Kg.
This job required a large amount of modification. The work included altering the truck wheelbase and replacing the axle to comply with the DVS requirements in Jersey.
Once this was completed we manufactured its dropside body. This included a hydraulically extendable body piece of 1 meter. This design incorporated the rear tailboard into the floor.
Finally the cab, mud wings and other smaller components were modified to comply with the maximum width restriction.
A completely besopke solution delivered by Tip N Lift
Tip N Lift recently fitted a vehicle removal unit with the all new Amco Veba 818T crane (an upgrade from the 817). For this application the new EN12999 stability control feature was used (a technology that prevents the crane from operating without sufficient stabilisation. Ensuring the safe use of a lorry mounted crane). The 818T was fitted with a 3.5 ton lifting frame and clamps.
Once completed the unit was calibrated in house by Tip N Lift for the client.
